Bologna Warriors add 4 Americans for their 30th IFL season

Happy Birthday, Bologna Warriors! Founded January 14th, 1981, the Italian football team Bologna Warriors will play their 30th IFL season this year. In order to prepare for success, the team has announced the signing of four Italian Americans.

Former OL Coach of Purdue University in Indiana, Cory Brenton, will train the OL and DL of Bologna this upcoming season. The Offense will be bolstered by Quarterback Eric Marty, who has extensive experience of playing in Europe. Marty spent last season in Austria where he won the AFL Bowl with the Danube Dragons and completed 67.5% of his passes for 2504 yards and scoring 31 TD through the air. The Chapman University graduate has played in Italy before, when he led the Bolzano Giants to an IFL Championship in 2009. Also on Offense, RB Jordan Scott will help the Warriors gain yards on the ground. Walter Peoples, a DB / WR from Southeast Missouri, will support both the Offense and the Defense of Bologna.
