JD Harris joins Rhinos Milano as new OC

January 17, 2011

JD Harris brings extensive football experience to Milan, Italy. Between 1996 and 2000, Harris worked in the Scouting Department of the Chicago Bears and in 2000 was in charge of Scouting for the Cleveland Browns. Afterwards, he started working as an Assistant Coordinator, first for the Waukegan High School then subsequently for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Trinity International University, Luther College and Benedictine University. In 2009, Harris became Head Coach of the Spartiates di Amiens, a French American Football team located not far from Paris. After leading the Spartiates to a French National Championship, Harris is joining the Milano Rhinos as an Offensive Coordinator for the upcoming 2011 season. When asked about his goals for the EFAF Cup in which Milano is participating this year, Harris said: “Everytime I am confronted with a challenge, I give my best and I give everything to win. That is my duty. A victory is my highest goal”. The Rhinos are set to begin long season of at least 12 games, but Harris is not worried, saying they will take “one game at a time”.
