Swarco Raiders add new Quarterback for 2011

January 17, 2011

After winning the Eurobowl Championship with Berlin, former Adler head coach Shuan Fatah decided to head to Tirol, Austria and coach the Swarco Raiders in 2011. As it turns out, former Adlers Quarterback Kyle Callahan will follow him to Austria and lead the Raiders offense in the upcoming season. “Kyle is a true leader. Since we worked together last season I know his strength and I am certain that he is the player we need to bring the Swarco Raiders back to success.”, said Fatah.

The Raiders met Callahan in last years Eurobowl semifinal, when he and the Adler beat Tirol with 29 – 27. In that game, Callahan completed 14 – 21 passes for 325 Yards and a TD, while also running 11 times for 57 Yards and two Touchdowns.

The new Raiders QB played his college football at Union College in Kentucky, where he was the first player to achieve both 1000 career passing and 1000 career receiving yards.
